تجديد حبس الصحفي أحمد سراج والمواطنين إبراهيم خالد وكريم ياسر
جددت نيابة أمن الدولة العليا، اليوم الأحد الموافق 4 مايو 2025، الحبس الاحتياطي للصحفي أحمد سراج لمدة 15 يومًا على ذمة التحقيقات في القضية رقم 7 لسنة 2025 حصر أمن دولة، حيث يواجه اتهامات تتعلق بـ”الانضمام لجماعة إرهابية، ونشر أخبار وبيانات كاذبة، وإساءة استخدام موقع (ذات مصر) في ارتكاب جريمة إرهابية”.
وكان قد تم القبض على الصحفي أحمد سراج منتصف يناير الماضي، عقب إجرائه حوارًا صحفيًا مع الدكتورة ندى مغيث، زوجة رسام الكاريكاتير أشرف عمر – المحبوس احتياطيًا بدوره على ذمة اتهامات مشابهة. وتم اقتياده حينها إلى أحد مقرات الأمن الوطني، قبل عرضه على نيابة أمن الدولة في اليوم التالي.
وقد مثل سراج اليوم من محبسه بمركز تأهيل العاشر (6) عبر تقنية الفيديو كونفرانس، حيث طالب الدفاع الحاضر بإخلاء سبيله بأي ضمان تراه النيابة، نظرًا لانتفاء مبررات الحبس الاحتياطي، وخلو الأوراق من أدلة كافية، سوى محضر التحريات، فضلًا عن تساويه في المركز القانوني مع د. ندى مغيث، التي سبق إخلاء سبيلها.
واحتياطيًا، طالب الدفاع بتطبيق أحد التدابير الاحترازية المنصوص عليها في المادة 201 من قانون الإجراءات الجنائية.

وفي سياق متصل، نظرت نيابة أمن الدولة العليا مساء اليوم أمر تجديد الحبس الاحتياطي لكل من: إبراهيم خالد إبراهيم وكريم ياسر عبد الشافي، المحبوسين على ذمة القضية رقم 851 لسنة 2025 حصر أمن دولة، حيث يواجهان اتهامات مماثلة شملت:
وقد تم القبض عليهما فجر يوم 30 ديسمبر 2024 من منزليهما، واحتُجزا بمقرات تابعة للأمن الوطني، ثم عرضا على النيابة منتصف فبراير 2025.
وقد مثلا اليوم من محبسهما بمركز تأهيل جمصة (2) عبر تقنية الفيديو كونفرانس. وطالب دفاعهما بإخلاء سبيلهما لأي ضمان تحدده النيابة العامة، لانتفاء مبررات الحبس، وعدم وجود دليل سوى محضر التحريات. كما طالب، احتياطيًا، بتطبيق التدابير الاحترازية المنصوص عليها في المادة 201 من قانون الإجراءات الجنائية.
Pretrial Detention Renewed for Journalist Ahmed Serag and Two Citizens in State Security Cases Involving Similar Charges
On Sunday, May 4, 2025, the Supreme State Security Prosecution (SSSP) renewed the pretrial detention of journalist Ahmed Serag for 15 additional days pending investigation in Case No. 7 of 2025 (SSSP). Serag faces charges including:
“Joining a terrorist organization, publishing false news and statements, and misusing the ‘Zat Masr’ platform to commit a terrorist offense.”
The arrest of Ahmed Serag took place in mid-January 2025, shortly after he conducted an interview with Dr. Nada Moghith, the wife of detained cartoonist Ashraf Omar, who is also in pretrial detention on similar charges. Serag was held overnight at a National Security premises before appearing before the prosecution the next day.
Today, Serag appeared via video conference from El-Tahyeel Center (10), and his legal defense requested his release on any guarantee the prosecution deems appropriate, citing the lack of sufficient evidence beyond the National Security investigations report. The defense also noted the similarity in legal standing between Serag and Dr. Nada Moghith, who had previously been released. As an alternative, the defense requested the application of precautionary measures under Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
In a related development, the SSSP also reviewed the pretrial detention of Ibrahim Khaled Ibrahim and Kareem Yasser Abdelshafy, who are held in Case No. 851 of 2025 (SSSP). Both detainees face similar charges, including:
“Joining a terrorist group, spreading false information, misusing social media, promoting the aims of a terrorist group domestically and internationally, harming national interests, and disturbing public peace and order.”
They were arrested at dawn on December 30, 2024, from their homes and taken to National Security locations before appearing before the prosecution in mid-February 2025.
Ibrahim and Kareem also appeared today via video conference from Gamasa Rehabilitation Center (2). Their legal team requested their release on any guarantees deemed appropriate by the prosecution, arguing the absence of substantial evidence beyond the intelligence report. Alternatively, they requested the application of precautionary measures under Article 201.
